Making Room for Others: FAQs for Adding a Third Service
On Sunday, October 12, 2025, Cornerstone will transition to three worship services each Sunday morning. This is a huge move for our church, and it’s happening for the best possible reason—Jesus is sending so many new people to Cornerstone!
Why are we adding a third service?
Because Jesus is building His church!
Over the past year, our Sunday morning worship services have become increasingly full–with our Modern Service reaching max capacity. Adding a third service is a way for us to follow Jesus’ example of making room for others like he makes room for us. We want to make sure every person who comes to Cornerstone has a seat, a place to park, and a chance to meet Jesus and his people.
Here’s one way you can help right now:
If you’re able, please park farther from the building and sit toward the front to make room for guests.
When will the new service times begin?
The new schedule will start on Sunday, October 12, 2025.

8:30am — Blended Worship (Sanctuary)

9:30am — Modern Worship (FLC)

11:00am — Modern Worship (FLC)
What about Cornerstone Kids?

8:30am: Childcare for Infants - Kindergarten

9:30am: Kids Programming for Infants - 5th grade

11:00am: Kids Programming for Infants - 5th grade
We encourage parents attending multiple hours to allow your children (1st-5th) to attend a worship service with you and participate in Cornerstone Kids during the opposite hour. Students (6th-12th) will meet for small groups at 11:00am.
When will Discipleship Groups meet?
We are offering two discipleship group hours on Sunday mornings:

9:45am–10:45am

11:00am–12:00pm
This allows flexibility based on which service you attend:

Those attending the 8:30am OR 11:00am service may attend groups at 9:45am.

Those attending the 9:30am service may attend groups at 11:00am.

Students (6th-12th) will meet for groups at 11:00am.
Discipleship groups are also available on Sunday evenings and Wednesday evenings for those who serve on a ministry team on Sunday mornings.
Will this change affect my group or class?
Most groups previously meeting at 10:30am will remain in the same location and begin meeting at 9:45am. Groups previously meeting at 9:00am may change times and locations. Our staff is working with our discipleship group leaders to solidify specific details.

INVITE: Keep inviting friends, neighbors, and coworkers. There’s room for them now!

SERVE: More services mean more opportunities to serve. You can help with Kids, Students, Connections, Worship, Tech, and more. If you are already serving on a ministry team, we’re so thankful for you! Your ministry team leader will communicate what these changes will mean for your team.
Finally, please BE FLEXIBLE! We know change isn’t easy. We are so thankful for your sacrifice and flexibility to help people meet Jesus and become a part of his church.
What’s the Big Idea behind this change?
We’re not just adding services—we’re making room for people to meet Jesus! At Cornerstone we believe: “Jesus makes room for us, so we need to make room for others.” This is the next step in our church’s mission to Follow Jesus and Reach People.

Just follow the signs! Our friendly parking team will guide you to a spot.
